Oleg Kireyev and Vasil Hadzimanov together at Belgrade Kolarac

The biggest ethno jazz pianist in Serbia and the biggest ethno jazz saxophonist in Russia were perform together for the first time at famous Belgradian Kolarac Hall on February 28, played uniquely arranged jazz compositions featuring traditional folk motifs of Russia and Serbia.

The program was based on new readings of the best compositions by representatives of the modern jazz scenes in the Balkans and Russia. The musicians have picked their favorite tunes, which showcase their mastery of their respective instruments and their talents.

Oleg Kireyev and Vasil Hadžimanov started their cooperation in 2016, when they ventured to explore a fusion of traditional music and jazz.
